Los Angeles based Global girl group Katseye, have opened up on receiving multiple death threats since they made their debut.
The group, in an interview with BBC News, revealed that they have since their debut, even their families have been targeted.
A member of the group, Lara Raj, described the threats as really heavy.
“I try to tell myself it doesn’t matter, but if 1,000 people are sending you death threats, it’s jarring. Even if it’s not going to happen, it’s heavy,” she stated.
Raj also revealed that she had to delete the X app (formerly known as twitter), to avoid seeing the negative comments targeted at her and other members of the girl group.
“I realised I am not the audience for other people’s opinions,” she added.
