A Paris-based event promoter has publicly accused popular Nigerian singer Kizz Daniel of failing to perform at a scheduled concert in France despite allegedly receiving full payment.
The promoter, in a video shared on X (formerly Twitter), claimed that the singer was paid €80,000 (about ₦135 million) for the performance but failed to show up at the venue.
According to the promoter, Kizz Daniel reportedly made several additional demands before the event, including a request for seafood and luxury transportation.
“Kizz Daniel insisted on having seafood before heading to the venue and threatened to leave the hotel if his demand wasn’t met,” the promoter alleged.
“Even after arranging a van, he refused to use it, demanding a Rolls-Royce or Range Rover instead.”
The promoter further revealed that after the initial payment, the artist requested an extra €5,000 to cover flight expenses, which was paid. However, Kizz Daniel allegedly missed his flight and later demanded another €2,000, which was also provided.
Despite these arrangements, the promoter claimed that the “Buga” crooner arrived late and did not perform at all.
“I am asking everyone to urge him to refund my money,” the promoter said in frustration. “He arrived late and didn’t perform after collecting €80,000. The refund must happen immediately.”
