Olamide crowns Wizkid as ‘greatest afrobeat artist ever’

Nigerian rapper and record executive Olamide Gbenga Adedeji, popularly known as Olamide, has crowned his colleague, Wizkid, as the greatest afrobeats artist of the current generation.

The artist said this while speaking with students at York University, Toronto. He also spoke about his collaborations and relationship with Wizkid, adding that working with Wizkid has been a privilege.

He claimed that Wizkid is the greatest Afrobeats artist ever, just after Nigerian music icon, Fela.

“I’ve had the privilege of working with Wizkid, we’ve made so many songs together. You know say after Fela, Wizkid is the greatest Afrobeats artist ever,” he said.
