Adinuba said he had personally spoken with the former governor and confirmed that Obiano is “hale and hearty” and currently residing in the United States, not the United Kingdom as suggested in the online reports.
“Obiano has never lived in the United Kingdom. He lives in the United States of America. I just spoke with him now,” Adinuba said, urging Nigerians to ignore what he called misleading and mischievous rumours.
He warned that such unfounded claims could cause needless anxiety for Obiano’s family, close associates, and the people of Anambra State, and advised the public to verify information before sharing it.
