Regina Daniels finds refuge in Tiwa Savage amid raging war with Ned Nwoko

In a heartfelt Instagram post, Nollywood actress Regina Daniels shared a touching exchange with music heavyweight Tiwa Savage, calling the singer a “true icon” whose wisdom and generosity “lifted my spirit.”

She revealed how Savage insisted on giving her a dollar-gift, a rare moment of receiving rather than giving, and one that brought a “brightest smile” to her face.

The post, full of warmth, gratitude, and respect, comes at a turbulent time for Daniels, whose marriage to Senator Ned Nwoko has erupted into a very public feud.

Recent weeks have seen a sharp escalation in their conflict. Regina has made grave allegations against Nwoko, accusing him of isolating her from her family, controlling her access to communication, and even declaring her mentally unstable when she tried to step away.

She wrote: “You want to find a reason to arrest everyone around me so that I will have no one left beside me. Then when I’m completely isolated and broken, I will be forced to come back to you.”

According to Regina, Nwoko allegedly seized her phones to cut off outside contact, and she claims she was locked in a room and labeled “mentally unstable” whenever she expressed a desire to leave.

In one of Regina’s most shocking revelations, she said she and Nwoko were never legally married.

In a statement, she insisted there were no court documents or civil marriage registry, only a traditional union.

She even said she would have filed for divorce “long ago” if there had been a formal marriage.

That paints a very different picture of their relationship, one in which her options and rights may be more constrained than people assumed.

Beyond the question of legal marriage, Regina has leveled more serious accusations.

Among them, she claimed Nwoko encouraged her drug use, allegedly because he found her “sexier” when high.

She accused him of locking her up, seizing her phones, and even coercing medical intervention, suggesting that professionals were paid to declare her mentally unstable.

She also alleged unwanted physical contact and emotional manipulation whenever she tried to pull away.

Her message about Savage wasn’t just about receiving a gift. It was also about being seen, supported, and affirmed, at a time when she claims she’s being deprived of support from her own husband and family circle.

Regina has also publicly vowed to fight for custody of her children, making it clear she doesn’t intend to be silenced or pushed back into a relationship she said she never consented to fully.
