Shocker! Ned Nwoko exposes Regina Daniels’ ‘dangerous’ substance abuse

Senator Ned Nwoko has confirmed the authenticity of the viral medical reports alleging that his wife, Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, is battling substance abuse.

The clarification was issued in a statement shared on his Instagram page on Saturday and signed by his Communication Team Lead. The statement comes after one of the hospitals mentioned in the documents—Serenity Royale Hospital, Abuja—publicly denied releasing the report.

According to Nwoko’s team, while the hospital denied circulating the report, it did not deny authoring it.

“A medical report concerning Regina Nwoko has been circulating online. The reports are genuine,” the statement read.

“The rehabilitation centre only clarified that it did not publish or circulate the documents, which is expected because medical institutions must protect client confidentiality.”

The Senator urged the public to review the full reports, which allegedly confirm dangerously high levels of multiple substances.

“Both the toxicology report and the Serenity Hospital report confirm the presence of the same substances, all at levels that pose serious health risks: marijuana, cocaine, morphine, opiates at extremely elevated levels, and alcohol at a critically danger

ous level.”Another report from Nizamiya Hospital, dated October 3, 2025, reportedly stated that the actress was brought in unconscious due to a drug overdose.

Nwoko’s team also accused some of Regina’s siblings of obstructing her rehabilitation by enabling her substance use.

According to the statement, the siblings allegedly provided her with alcohol and marijuana even during treatment, making recovery “impossible.”

The Senator said he is insisting on therapy because he believes Regina’s recent actions are influenced by instability tied to substance use.

“Several of her recent decisions are not coming from a stable and healthy frame of mind. She is vulnerable and exposed to individuals who exploit her,” the statement noted.

The Senator added that efforts to handle the matter privately had failed and that the severity of her reported condition required urgent public intervention.

The statement concluded:

“Regina needs consistent treatment, support, and protection. Not denial, not interference, and not enabling. She is a mother, and she deserves the chance to regain her health and stability.”

Regina Daniels had earlier responded to her husband’s claims, admitting she had used drugs in the past but denying that substance abuse was the cause of their marital issues. She accused Nwoko of exaggeration and manipulation, alleging that he encouraged her drug use.
