Morocco’s Ghizlane Chebbak has won the CAF Women’s Player of the Year award, beating Nigeria’s Rasheedat Ajibade. The event took place on Wednesday in Rabat, Morocco.
Chebbak had an excellent year for both her club and the Moroccan national team. She showed great leadership and consistent performance, especially in midfield. Her strong displays for Morocco on the international stage helped her earn the top award.
Nigeria’s Ajibade also had a fantastic year with the Super Falcons and her club, PSG, but she narrowly missed winning the prize. Ajibade played a major role in helping Nigeria win their record 10th WAFCON title.
