‘I don’t need broke fans’, Burna Boy makes bold declaration

Nigerian singer, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, also known as Burna Boy, has reacted to the backlash he received for walking out a couple attendee from his show.

The singer in a livestream on Instagram stated that he did not force anyone to be his fan, emphasising that no one is compelled to support or love him.

Burna Boy who was criticised for his action in Denver, also revealed that he would choose to have a fan base that has money to spend, adding that he does not want ‘broke’ supporters.

While speaking during the livestream, the Grammy-Award-Winning singer asked if he ever forced anyone to support him.

“I force anybody to be my fan?,” he stated.

This comment sparked a new wave of criticism as some users angrily stated that the musician was being too proud.
