Nigerian Pastor and televangelist, Paul Adefarasin has weighed in on the current terrorist attacks and abductions that has happened in the country.
While speaking to the congregation of his church, Adefarasin revealed that although he hopes Nigeria doesn’t go to war, he is ready if that happens.
He stressed that while he believes that the diplomatic methods adopted by the government can help eradicate terrorism, he doesn’t believe in negotiating with terrorists. Adefarasin added that the negotiation process is going to require a lot of brain work.
“I certainly hope that Nigeria doesn’t have to go to war, but I’m ready for it. Can’t discuss those things because there is still dialogue going on and it is two civilizations globally fighting, Nigeria is just one of the fronts. I hope the dialogue works and expunge terrorism from Nigeria perpetually. It is going to take a lot of brain and negotiation, but I really don’t think you should negotiate with terrorists,” he stated.
