Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca says his team has improved compared to last season and is now closer to competing for the Premier League title.
Maresca spoke after Chelsea drew 1-1 with Arsenal on Sunday. He said the team is moving in the right direction and praised their performance.
He explained that Chelsea will know their true position in the title race by February or March.
“We are better than last season. We are closer,” Maresca said. “We showed we are heading in the right direction. The performance has been fantastic.”

Chelsea are now third on the Premier League table, six points behind leaders Arsenal after 13 matches.
