Nigerian controversial media personality Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkman, VDM, has weighed in on the recent attacks in the country, claiming he knows what can end terrorism in Nigeria.

While speaking in a video clip on his social media page, VDM claimed that terrorism thrives in Nigeria due to lack of adequate education.

He claimed that the Northern part of Nigeria lacks education, which makes it easy for them to be coerced and used by criminals.

“The only solution to terrorism is to educate the Northerners. Any Nigerian leader that will take four years out of his eight years to educate the North. Force education on them have solved terrorism problems. Let them have the knowledge because knowledge is power. Until then, Nigeria may suffer more in years to come. They don’t go to school in the North, rather they study religion. That is why the fewer people that are educated keep using the uneducated as their weapons. If I want to start terrorism today, I will go to Madugri, Zamfara or somewhere. If you go to the North, you see a lot of young people in the streets begging. You can easily pack ten thousand of them and bring them to Abuja,” he stated.

VDM added that even the US soldiers cannot fully eradicate terrorism if the solution is not being acted upon. He claimed that the crisis will only get worse in the coming years.

“Terr0rism in Nigeria is not stopping anytime soon. As a matter of fact it will come harder at us in years to come. Because the only solutions is not being applied. Even if the United States soldiers come in to Nigeria today they won’t still be able to stop the future,” he added
