Creme de la creme from Nigeria and beyond are set to attend the 13th GAH Awards & Business Summit on December 12, 2025, at Eko Hotels & Suites in Lagos.

Among the expected dignitaries are Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State, Dr. Babatope Agbeyo, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, and Reverend Mother Esther Abimbola Ajayi.

During a press conference, Dr. Kelechi Oghene, the Founder of the GAH Awards, highlighted the event as a crucial step towards a more innovative and inclusive Africa. The summit serves as a major Pan-African platform for leaders in governance and social progress.

A key feature of this edition will be the unveiling of the GAH Elite Club Black Card, powered by Mastercard and Wema Bank, described by Dr. Oghene as a gateway to influence and strategic opportunities.

Other notable attendees will include Senator Dr. Bashiru Ajibola, Dr. Allen Onyema, Professor Obiora Gregory Okonkwo, Dr. Joe Okei-Odumakin, and human rights advocate Femi Falana, SAN.

Other eminent figures expected at the event include Senator Dr. Bashiru Ajibola, National Secretary of the APC; Dr. Allen Onyema, CEO of Air Peace; Professor Obiora Gregory Okonkwo; Dr. Joe Okei-Odumakin, founder of Women Arise, and Femi Falana, SAN, renowned human rights advocate.

Dr. Oghene emphasised that this year’s theme, Africa Reimagined: Innovation, Inclusion & Sustainable Growth, is designed to deepen continental conversation on Africa’s future.

“This 13th edition is not merely a continuation; it is an elevation,” he said. “The GAH Awards is one of the platforms designed to drive collective progress by amplifying voices, connecting industries, empowering communities and strengthening institutional capacity.

“As we build toward December event, I extend a call to institutions, governments, development agencies, and corporate brands to partner with us. Reimagining Africa requires platforms that amplify voices, connect industries, empower communities, and strengthen institutional capacity. The GAH Awards & Business Summit is one such platform—designed to drive collective progress.”

With preparations in full swing, the organisers said they expect the 2025 edition to set a new benchmark in thought leadership, collaboration and the celebration of African excellence.
