Erioluwa Asiru’s fascination with technology began long before she became a software engineer and co-founder of CircleFunds.
As a child, she found herself taking things apart, exploring digital systems, and asking how apps and the internet worked. That innate curiosity has now evolved into a career at the forefront of fintech, blockchain, and data-driven solutions.
With a BSc in Computer Engineering, Erioluwa has built a reputation for delivering secure and scalable software systems, leading engineering teams, and developing practical solutions to complex problems. Her journey has included pivotal roles at Ikonik and Insomnia Labs, where she managed integrations, spearheaded blockchain initiatives, and oversaw technically complex projects.
Beyond her professional achievements, Erioluwa mentors aspiring technologists at Data Epic, teaching skills in Python, data analysis, and software development. “I want to empower others to solve real problems with technology,” she says. “Being able to guide and inspire the next generation is as rewarding as building systems myself.”
Co-founding CircleFunds with friends was a defining milestone. “Turning an idea born from a real problem into a functioning product that helps people is my greatest accomplishment,” she notes. The experience has given her insight into collaboration, persistence, and innovation.
Erioluwa encourages aspiring tech professionals to embrace curiosity and continuous learning. She reflects, “Technology evolves rapidly, so stay curious, learn consistently, and don’t shy away from problems you’ve never seen before. These challenges are opportunities to grow.”
Through her leadership, technical expertise, and mentorship, Erioluwa Asiru is not only building fintech solutions that matter but also cultivating a new generation of innovators in Nigeria and beyond.
