Nigerian rapper Ice Prince Zamani has stirred reactions online after admitting that the rising rate of marital crises is making single men like him increasingly afraid of getting married.
The music star, known for hit tracks like Oleku and Aboki, took to social media to express his worries, revealing that almost “everything happening these days” sends a warning signal to unmarried men.
According to him, a close friend who got married in 2024 is already tired of the union and reportedly avoids his wife’s calls.
He wrote:
“These days na everyday dem dey scare us about this marriage union of a thing… My guy wey just marry 2024 no dey answer wife call again and wants out.”
Speaking further, Ice Prince passed a message to men approaching 40, urging them to reflect deeply before committing to marriage.
“Yo single fellas approaching 40, Wagwan?! Pls what’s the update these days?! What we doing?!”
He also advised men to work on themselves before deciding to lead a home.
“My brother, check yourself properly before you tell person daughter or another man sister say you want to be the head coach in her life oo. Cleanse yourself first, look yourself well and tell yourself the truth first.”
