Katy Perry, ex Canadian prime minister just confirmed their romance

Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau have gone Instagram official, posting photos and videos from their recent trip to Japan.

In one picture, the couple smiles for a selfie with their faces touching. In another video, they are seen trying sushi together.

Neither Perry nor Trudeau has publicly commented on their relationship, but speculation has been building for months, with multiple sightings of the pair together. Trudeau also attended one of Perry’s concerts earlier this year, fuelling rumours of a romance.

Perry, who is on her global Lifetimes Tour, captioned her Instagram post: “Tokyo times on tour and more.”

Earlier this week, Trudeau, 53, shared a photo of himself and Perry with former Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and his wife, Yuko, writing: “Great to see you @kishida230. Katy and I were so glad to have the chance to sit down with you and Yuko. Thank you, Fumio, for your friendship and your continued commitment to both the international rules-based order and to a better future for everyone.”

Last month, the pair appeared to confirm their relationship after being photographed holding hands in Paris. TMZ shared video and photos of the couple walking together before getting into a car, with Trudeau seen helping Perry into the back seat. The outing coincided with Perry’s 41st birthday and marked what seemed to be their first public appearance as a couple.
