Toolz blasts man who mocked Jnr Pope’s wife for ‘moving on’”

Nigerian On-Air Personality, Tolu Oniru-Demuren, popularly known as Toolz, has berated a social media user who mocked Jennifer, the widow of late Nollywood actor Jnr Pope, for allegedly “moving on” less than a year after her husband’s death.

Jnr Pope tragically lost his life in a boat accident while heading to a movie set, leaving behind his wife and their three young sons.

On Sunday, a video surfaced online showing Jennifer and actress Mercy Johnson elegantly dressed as they stepped out for an event. While many social media users applauded Jennifer for looking radiant, one X-user left a disparaging comment accusing her of moving on too quickly.

The user went further to advise men to “avoid dying young,” implying that widows would leave their memory behind too soon.

Toolz, who came across the remark, did not hold back as she fired back at the commenter, condemning his insensitivity toward a grieving woman and describing the remark as cruel and unnecessary.
