Young John issues stern warning to critics

Nigerian singer John Saviours Udomboso, also known as Young John, has warned online critics against talking down on his talent and work.

The artist, on his X handle, reacted to some comments of his sound being monotonous. He warned critics to ignore his music and work if it does not appeal to them, rather than trying to water it down.

“If you’re not a fan of my work, leave it at that! Don’t come here and water down my years of hard work!” he wrote.

Known for his work as a producer and artist, Young John gained prominence in the early 2010s after collaborating consistently with YBNL. He later became popular as a singer and signed a record deal with Chocolate City.
