The team, which was previously ranked 36th in the world, is now in 37th position.

Nigeria’s Super Falcons have slipped one place in the latest FIFA women’s world ranking released on Thursday.

The team, which was previously ranked 36th in the world, is now in 37th position.

According to FIFA, the drop happened because the Super Falcons were inactive during the last international break, meaning they did not play any friendly or competitive matches.

Teams that played during that period gained or lost points, while Nigeria’s points remained the same, causing them to move down slightly.

Despite this small setback, the Super Falcons continue to hold their position as the number one women’s team in Africa, showing their long-term strength and consistency on the continent.

South Africa, Ghana, Zambia and Morocco follow closely behind as the next four highest-ranked African nations. These teams have shown steady improvement in recent years, increasing competition in African women’s football.

Globally, Spain remain the best women’s national team, holding on to the top spot after strong performances in recent competitions.

The United States, Germany, England and Sweden complete the top five in the world ranking.

The Super Falcons will be hoping to improve their ranking when they return to action in upcoming international fixtures, as Nigerian fans continue to expect strong performances from the record African champions.
