Nollywood actress and philanthropist Tonto Dikeh has publicly declared a profound spiritual rebirth, unveiling what she described as a divine reintroduction and commissioning rooted in faith, deliverance and purpose.
In a deeply personal message shared on her official social media page, the actress announced a new phase of her life, portraying her journey as one of mercy, restoration and spiritual assignment.
“Let me reintroduce myself to the world,” she wrote. “My name is KING TONTO DIKEH. A living testimony of mercy. One God spared, restored, and commissioned.”
Drawing from biblical references, Dikeh said her identity is anchored in divine encounter rather than public perception, describing herself as Ada El-Roi, a reference to Genesis 16:13, meaning “the God who sees me.”
“I am spirit filled, fire carrying, and truth anchored,” she stated. “Not perfect, but purified. Not chosen by man, but ordained by God.”
In one of the most striking parts of her declaration, the actress described herself as a “demon chaser,” stressing that her authority, she said, is spiritual rather than personal.
“I am a demon chaser, not by strength, but by covenant,” Dikeh wrote, adding that “Light does not argue with darkness, it displaces it. Luke 10:19 is my authority, not my ego.”
She further likened her calling to that of the biblical Queen Esther, positioning herself as someone raised to influence systems and awaken hearts in what she described as a divinely appointed season.
“I stand as an Esther of this generation. Raised for such a time as this,” she said, saying that “Sent to influence systems, awaken hearts, and call a people back to God.”
Reflecting on her past struggles and public controversies, Dikeh said her story is proof that mercy can rewrite identity and that pain can become purpose.
“I am proof that mercy rewrites identity. That deliverance births destiny. That what tried to destroy you becomes the platform God uses to display His glory,” she said.
The actress, who has in recent years been more vocal about her Christian faith, insisted that her message should not be mistaken for a publicity move.
“This is not rebranding. This is resurrection,” she declared. “I am KING TONTO. And God is not finished.”
Dikeh affirmed her commitment to what she described as a lifelong spiritual assignment.
“I do not come with my own name. I come in the name of the Lord. And I will speak, move, serve, and stand until the earth knows that Jesus still saves, still heals, and still delivers.”
