Donald Trump Jr. announces engagement to girlfriend Bettina Anderson

Donald Trump Jr. and Bettina Anderson have announced their engagement after dating for about a year.

The couple shared the news on Monday night during a White House Christmas reception, shortly after reports emerged that Trump Jr. had proposed and Anderson had accepted.

Speaking to guests after President Donald Trump invited them to say a few words, Trump Jr., 47, said the moment left him emotional.

“Not often that I’m at a loss for words… but this is a little different,” he said.

In a video shared online, Trump Jr. thanked Anderson for saying “yes” to his proposal.

Anderson also spoke at the event, describing the engagement as a special moment.

“This has really been the most unforgettable weekend of my life,” she said. “I get to marry the love of my life, and I feel like the luckiest girl in the world.”

This will be Trump Jr.’s second marriage. He was previously married to Vanessa Trump, with whom he has five children. Their eldest child, Kai, is 18.

After his divorce in 2018, Trump Jr. dated former Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle. The two got engaged in 2020 but ended their relationship last year.

Bettina Anderson, 39, is the daughter of the late Harry Loy Anderson Jr., a former banking executive and philanthropist in Palm Beach, Florida, who died in 2013.

She studied at Columbia University, graduating in 2009 with a degree in art history, criticism, and conservation.
