Samklef fires at Davido, claims he is responsible for spreading toxicity

Nigerian record producer Samuel Oguachuba, popularly known as Samklef, has accused Afrobeats singer, Davido of spreading toxicity in the Nigerian music industry.

The record producer reacted to Pheelz’s comment over the rise in comparisons and toxicity. He claimed that the music industry was fun when Wizkid started making music, adding that the energy between artists was that of mutual respect and understanding.

Samklef further claimed that the music industry became toxic when Davido started making music, adding that he was moving dirty.

“Music was fun when we started. When Wizkid came, there was no comparison—everything was pure love. Olamide came too, same thing. No pressure, no hatred, just music. Then one Scorpio boy who moves like Diddy..Davido entered, and since then the industry turned toxic. Cultist mindset, threats, fake streams, dirty moves everywhere,” he stated.

Davido, however, is yet to react or respond to Samklef’s statement and claims.
