Popular fashion entrepreneur Temi Otedola and Nigerian singer Mr Eazi have shared details of the intense planning, stress and disagreements they faced before settling on their three destination weddings.

The couple made the disclosure while speaking in a recent interview, where they revealed that organising three weddings across three different countries within just three months was far from easy.

According to them, the process was overwhelming, with each ceremony coming closely after the other.

“Three weddings in three months is insane,” they admitted, describing the experience as emotionally and physically draining.

Temi explained that their initial plan was to have a simple and quiet court wedding in Nigeria. However, concerns about privacy quickly arose.

“If we went to the courthouse in Nigeria, it wouldn’t be as private as we wanted,” she said.

Another option was to invite court officials to their home for a private civil ceremony. While Temi found the idea appealing, Mr Eazi was not completely comfortable with it, leading to disagreements and further discussions.

Eventually, the couple settled on Monaco for their civil wedding, a decision Temi said held more sentimental value for her. The United Kingdom was also considered at some point, but she admitted it did not feel personal enough.

The couple also expressed surprise at the amount of paperwork involved in getting married.

“I thought getting married was just deciding and signing papers,” Temi said. “I didn’t know there was a mountain of administration.”
