Tanzanian singer Juma Jux has shared the heartwarming story of how he met his Nigerian wife, Priscilla Ojo, revealing that he had no idea she was a celebrity when they first crossed paths.
Speaking in a recent interview with Yanga FM Lagos, the singer disclosed that their first meeting happened in Rwanda, where he was instantly drawn to Priscilla without knowing her public status.
According to Jux, what began as a physical attraction quickly grew into something deeper after they started having conversations.
“I met Priscilla in Rwanda. I didn’t know she was a celebrity. When I saw her, it was love at first sight. I was like, ‘Wow! This girl is beautiful, I like her,’” he said.
The singer explained that it was Priscilla’s communication skills, personality, and overall character that convinced him she was the woman he wanted to marry.
“After we had conversations, I figured out that she is the one I would marry. Even after many meetings, I still didn’t know she was a celebrity until I hosted her in Zanzibar and blogs carried it,” Jux added.
Juma Jux also admitted that his marriage to Priscilla has had a positive impact on his career, especially in expanding his fanbase across Nigeria and West Africa.
The couple tied the knot earlier in 2025 and welcomed their son, Rakeem, in Canada on August 24, 2025.
