Why I created wives of actors prayer group – Daniel Etim’s wife

Toyosi Etim Effiong, wife of Nollywood actor Daniel Etim Effiong, has shared her perspective on marriage and infidelity, stating that cheating alone is not enough reason for her to walk away from her marriage.

Effiong made the remarks during a recent episode of media personality Toke Makinwa’s podcast, where she spoke about her beliefs on sustaining marital relationships, especially within the entertainment industry.

According to her, infidelity is not sufficient grounds to end a marriage, stressing that she prioritises prayer, spiritual support, and intentional effort over separation.

She further revealed that she established a prayer group specifically for wives of entertainers, aimed at supporting one another and praying for their husbands.

“Cheating is not a dealbreaker for me. I even created a prayer group, Wives of Entertainers Prayer Group, to pray for our husbands so that Jezebels will not carry them,” she said.
