President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has sent warm congratulations to Chief Bisi Olatilo, a veteran broadcaster, polyglot and founder of Biscon Communications, on the occasion of his 72nd birthday, celebrated on December 20.

In a congratulatory message, the President described Olatilo as a media icon whose enduring contributions to broadcast journalism continue to enrich national development. President Tinubu acknowledged Olatilo’s pioneering role in broadcast journalism and his unwavering commitment to professionalism through Biscon Communications, which he founded.

“Otunba Bisi, at 72, you have become an institution and a widely respected voice in Nigeria’s celebrity media circle, primarily through the Bisi Olatilo Show, which has transformed into a must-see programme in social circles and a veritable source of enlightenment and mentorship,” the President said.

He added that Olatilo’s influence goes beyond broadcasting, praising his role in the conservation and promotion of Nigerian arts and culture. According to the President, these efforts reflect his belief in national unity and socio-economic development.
