Ogun governor Dapo Abiodun has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to delivering on its promise of infrastructural development in Ota and its environs.
Speaking at the 2025 Annual Odun Omo Iganmode Day celebration, Abiodun, represented by his Deputy, Engr Noimot Salako-Oyedele, highlighted major ongoing projects, including the Government Housing Estate, Atan-Igbesa-Agbara road, and Lagos-Ibadan expressway reconstruction in Ota.
The Governor expressed appreciation for the people’s support and assured that legacy projects would be in place within the remaining period of his administration.
He congratulated the Olota of Ota, HRM Oba (Prof) AbdulKabir Adeyemi Obalanlege, on the successful hosting of the Iganmode Day 2025, praising the event’s focus on unity, cultural creativity, and kingship.
Senator Olamilekan Adeola Yayi, representing Ogun West, noted the festival’s growth and commended the Olota’s leadership and the Governor’s developmental strides.
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo emphasized the need for collective effort to develop Aworiland, urging sons and daughters of Ota to support the Olota.
The Olota of Ota, HRM Oba (Prof.) Abdulkabir Obalanlege, congratulated the people on the celebration, highlighting the festival’s role in promoting cultural heritage and unity.
