‘How family lost cancer patient, $250K after trusting pastor,’ Seun Kuti

Nigerian singer Oluseun Anikulapo Kuti, popularly known as Seun Kuti has recounted a story of a family who allegedly lost a loved one after relying on their faith for a cancer case.

The singer in a video, claimed that the family of the unnamed cancer patient sought spiritual intervenyion even after the medical pronouncement.

Seun added that the head pastor of the church claimed he could bring her back to life after she passed away. However, all efforts to revive her proved fruitless and the family ahd to bear the financial and emotional cost.

“Na him dey carry her body go inside Adeboye place for Redeem Camp. This was after $250,000 don go down. Adeboye came out of his balcony, he didn’t even come down to meet them. He told them to stop crying. He will go inside to pray for her to wake up. As he pray for one hour she no wake up, e say na God call am, make them dey go house,” he added.
