Veteran Nigerian rapper and music producer JJC Skillz has made startling revelations about his fallout with members of the defunct Mo’Hits crew, accusing them of betrayal and conspiracy at a critical stage of his career.
Speaking on the Echo Podcast, JJC Skillz alleged that Don Jazzy, D’banj, Ayo and DJ Abbas “ganged up” against him when he believed they were meant to support his integration into the Nigerian music industry.
According to the rapper, Cass introduced Don Jazzy to him, while Ayo came alongside DJ Abbas. He explained that he met the group through their television station and was transparent about his need for assistance in connecting with the right industry stakeholders in Nigeria.
JJC claimed that Don Jazzy recorded a song with him, while D’banj also had his own collaboration. However, he said he later discovered that the group allegedly had different intentions behind the scenes.
He further revealed that he heard from fellow rapper Ruggedman that members of the group had been making negative claims about him, including allegations that he was cheating them and refusing to pay for their work.
Reacting to the accusations, JJC Skillz expressed shock, insisting that he housed them, fed them, clothed them, and personally took them to shows while supporting their early careers.
“How can I be cheating you when you haven’t made any money?” he asked, stressing that at the time, he was the one introducing them and helping to put them in the spotlight.
