Shola Ogudu, mother to Boluwatife Ayodeji, Wizkid‘s 14-year-old son, popularly known as Champz, has announced that her son will not be performing at shows and events yet.
Shola on her X handle, expressed her appreciation to all those who supported her son’s first project, ‘Champion’s Arrival’, but explained that they wil not be taking up live performances.
Tife’s mom also explained that the decline in invitations was due to his age and personal development. She further noted that she wants her son to prioritise his development over going for shows.
“We want to say a Big Thank you for the countless show invitations and for considering Champz. Due to his age, we’re prioritising development over live performances for now, and have had to decline show bookings. We truly appreciate the interest and understanding,” she explained.
