Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has issued a stark ultimatum to Chris Okafor, Senior Pastor of Mountain of Liberation and Miracle Ministries, demanding he withdraw his defamation lawsuit against online critic VeryDarkman within 24 hours.
The development comes after Pastor Okafor’s legal team followed through on a prior warning, officially aiming at filing a case against Martins Vincent Otse (aka VeryDarkman) for alleged defamation and cyber harassment.
The lawsuit centers on claims made by VeryDarkman and a woman known as Miss Chi, who alleges Pastor Chris Okafor is her father, an assertion the cleric’s lawyers say is disproven by DNA evidence.
Ogala’s intervention, however, has abruptly shifted the narrative from a legal dispute to a high-stakes public confrontation.
“Is it true that Pastor Chris Okafor’s lawyer has filed a lawsuit against VeryDarkman? If it is, I’m giving Pastor Chris Okafor not more than 24 hours to apologise to VeryDarkman,” Ogala stated.
Her public ultimatum places significant new pressure on the clergyman, framing the legal action as an aggressive misstep that must be retracted.
