Lizzy Gold cries out as she spends Christmas With Yul Edochie

Nollywood actress Lizzy Gold has shared her disappointment at having to spend the Christmas holiday on a movie set rather than with family and loved ones.

The Asaba-based actress disclosed this via her Instagram page on Wednesday, posting photos from a film location where she is working alongside fellow actor Yul Edochie.

According to Gold, while many people are celebrating the festive season at home, she is committed to filming a project for Sunnec Production.

“People are with their loved ones celebrating the Xmas; I am here filming with Odogwu @yuledochie. It’s obvious we are spending the Xmas on set. Doing this for Sunnec Production,” she wrote.

The duo are known to share a close professional relationship. Edochie had previously congratulated Gold when she acquired a new car, praising her work ethic and describing the achievement as well deserved. Gold has also, on several occasions, credited Edochie for playing a significant role in her rise in Nollywood, noting his passion for filmmaking and mentorship.

In a past tribute on his birthday, Gold remarked that her brand in the industry could hardly be mentioned without acknowledging Edochie’s influence. Edochie himself once recounted how he reached out to her during the COVID-19 period and helped elevate her career, a promise he said he fulfilled.
