The Afrobeats legend made the revelation in Benin City during the MC EdoPikin Undiluted with StarBoy and Legends show, moments before delivering his performance.

Veteran Nigerian musician 2Baba, born Innocent Idibia, has made a rare and bold public confession, stating that he has stopped impregnating women indiscriminately.

The Afrobeats legend made the revelation in Benin City during the MC EdoPikin Undiluted with StarBoy and Legends show, moments before delivering his performance.

Addressing the crowd, the singer said he felt compelled to “set the record straight,” adding that he now makes the same confession wherever he performs.

“But see, I get confession. I dey make this confession everywhere I go now to set the record straight. I don stop to dey do that kind of thing, I don stop to dey give belle anyhow. I swear, ask anybody now, they will tell you say I be innocent,” he said in pidgin English, drawing loud reactions from the audience.

2Baba’s statement has since sparked widespread reactions online, given his well-documented history of fathering children with multiple partners over the years.

The singer’s first baby mama is Sumbo Adeoye, with whom he has two sons, Zion and Nino. Their relationship reportedly ended around 2009 following revelations of his involvement with other women.

He also shares three children with Pero Adeniyi, born between 2006 and 2012.

2Baba later married actress Annie Macaulay-Idibia, with whom he has two daughters. The marriage, which lasted over a decade, reportedly ended in divorce in 2025 after years of public controversy.

Most recently, the singer welcomed another child with his new partner, Natasha Osawaru, a union that has continued to generate debate across social media.

A video of the singer making the confession on stage has since gone viral, fueling renewed conversations about celebrity accountability, personal growth, and public perception.

The post was shared on Instagram by comedian and show host MC EdoPikin.
