Anita Joseph opens up on why she’s not ready to date again

Nollywood actress Anita Joseph has stated that she is not ready to jump into another relationship following the collapse of her marriage to her husband, MC Fish.

The actress made this known in a candid post shared on her Instagram page on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, where she revealed that she has been receiving an overwhelming number of calls and messages from admirers since confirming her separation.

Anita stressed that although she is currently single, she is not in search of a new partner and needs time to heal and clear her head after spending nearly nine years in her marriage.

“I’m single, yes!! I’m not searching plsssss. You guys should not crash my phone,” she wrote.

She further explained that her relationship was not a brief one, noting that “eight years and 11 days is not eight months,” adding that she deserves space to process everything she has been through.

The actress also used the opportunity to humorously redirect attention to her career, urging brands and producers to reach out for work opportunities instead.

“Give me gigs biko, thank you. That’s my song right there,” she added.

Anita Joseph had recently confirmed the end of her marriage to MC Fish, putting an end to weeks of speculation surrounding their relationship.
