Itele splashes millions on two cars as birthday gift to himself

Ahead of his birthday on January 1, Nollywood actor Ibrahim Yekini, popularly known as Itele, has splurged millions of naira on two brand-new cars as a personal birthday gift.

The award-winning actor, who made waves in 2025 with his blockbuster movie Koleoso, took to his Instagram page to share photos of himself posing proudly with the newly acquired vehicles.

Expressing gratitude and humility, Itele revealed that the cars were a gift to himself in celebration of his upcoming birthday.

“Humble and grateful.
From me to me – birthday gift.
Jan 1st king,” he wrote.

The post quickly drew congratulatory messages from colleagues and fans across the entertainment industry. Actor Femi Adebayo wrote, “Omo to ba shishe dude, well deserved. Congratulations bro.”

His wife, popularly known as Beauty By Icon, added, “We no dey post no mean sey e no dey choke for here o.”

Other Nollywood stars including Bolaji Ogunmola, Jamiu Azeez, Bimpe Akintunde, Adeniyi Johnson, Destiny Etiko, Jumoke Odetola and Funmi Awelewa also joined in celebrating the actor’s latest milestone.

The celebration comes amid a remarkable run for Itele. Just days earlier, he announced that Koleoso had made the list of Nigeria’s most searched series of 2025, describing the achievement as proof that “the growth is real and the record is loud.”

Earlier this month, the actor was also ranked among the Top 10 YouTube creators in Nigeria, a feat he credited to consistent support from fans and the dedication of the Koleoso production team.
