2Face opens up on rift between Plantashun Boiz

Nigerian singer Innocent Ujah Idibia MON, popularly known as 2Face, has opened up on the rift that occurred between his former boy band Plantashun Boiz.

The singer, while speaking to his fans during a live performance at the Made in Benue Festival in Makurdi, revealed that his bandmate Faze had no part to play in the rift that occurred in the group.

2Face also stressed that the group, which included himself, Blackface and Faze, split due to unforeseen circumstances.

“You all know that Plantashun Boiz consisted of Blackface, 2Face and Faze. But due to some unforeseen circumstances, Blackface is not with us right now. However, no matter the beef wey me and Blackface get, nothing concern Faze inside. So, Faze is right here with me and we will represent Plantashun Boiz,” he said.

The Plantashun Boiz were popular in the early 2000s. They however split and decided to pursue careers as solo artists. During their split, Blackface accused 2Face of song theft, a controversy that strained their relationship.
