Global music icon Beyonce Knowles-Carter has officially joined the billionaire club after Forbes declared her a billionaire, making her only the fifth musician in the world to hit the ten-figure milestone.

The 44-year-old superstar now stands alongside an elite group that includes Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Bruce Springsteen and her husband, rap mogul Jay-Z, whose fortune is estimated at $2.5 billion.

Forbes said Beyonce’s rise to billionaire status was driven largely by the huge success of her 2023 Renaissance World Tour, which pulled in nearly $600 million, ranking it among the biggest tours in music history.

Describing the tour, Forbes wrote that the three-hour, career-spanning show was one of the biggest concert sensations of 2023 and cemented Beyoncé’s place as one of the most powerful figures in global pop culture.

The magazine noted that the singer pushed her dominance even further in 2024 with the release of her country-inspired album, Cowboy Carter, which opened new commercial doors, including a high-profile NFL Christmas halftime performance and the highest-grossing concert tour of 2025.

Beyonce also cashed in on the Renaissance tour by releasing a concert film directly through AMC Theaters, keeping about half of its $44 million global box-office earnings.

Her critically acclaimed Cowboy Carter album, which re-examined the Black roots of country music and won Album of the Year at the Grammys, produced another blockbuster tour. Despite slow ticket sales in some markets, the Cowboy Carter Tour reportedly raked in over $400 million in ticket sales and an extra $50 million from merchandise.

Forbes added that major deals, including a Netflix NFL halftime special and a Levi’s advertising campaign, boosted her earnings by an estimated $60 million.

Widely regarded as one of the greatest entertainers of all time, Beyoncé remains the most-awarded artiste in Grammy history, with 35 wins, and continues to grow her empire through music, film and multiple business ventures.
