‘Performative love,’ late Allwell’s brother criticises Nollywood actors

The grieving brother of late Nollywood actress and filmmaker Allwell Ademola has criticised Nollywood actors of expressing performative love after the unexpected death of his sister.

Allwell’s brother on his social media claimed that the popular actors who are suddenly sowing love and support did not support his sister when she was alive.

He questioned their posts and emotional tributes, claiming that they benefitted from Allwell’s generosity. He also claimed that they were not supportive and helpful towards his sister when she needed it.

“Everybody dey post rest in peace. How many of you supported my sister when she was alive? All of una A-list actors wey call una self her friends… when una dey do movies, did you put Allwell?,” he questioned.
