As the year kicked off, Dunsin Oyekan came through with a single that feels less like a song and more like a spiritual energy surge. Amen, featuring the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E.A. Adeboye, is a declaration, a blessing, a sonic hug from heaven.
From the moment the song hit socials, fans knew they were in for something different. The intro welcomes you into worship, with the words, “The Lord bless you, the Lord keep you. The Lord make His face shine upon you” and suddenly, you’re not just listening, you’re experiencing. The melody, the keys, the percussion, and the angelic backup chants of “Amen” lift the spirit to a place that feels both familiar and transcendent.
Dunsin doesn’t crowd the track with too many verses, he knows less is more. The power is in the repetition, the echo of the chorus, the chant-like rhythm that allows you to flow and soak in every blessing. It’s hypnotic in the best way.
Then comes Daddy Adeboye. And oh, it’s a moment. His deep baritone cuts through the rhythm like a father speaking life into the listener. “I want you to receive a father’s blessing from the God that I serve. In the name that is above every other name, it will be wonderful for the rest of your life,” he declares. Solid foundations of prayer follow: “You will be great.” Every word lands, perfectly syncing with the percussion, the harmonies, and the atmosphere Dunsin has built.
In 2026, this feels like a benchmark release. A song that isn’t just for the ears, but more for the soul. It’s a musical Tesla, charged with faith, grace, and euphoria. Every element, from the character of the melody to the power of the lyrics, seals the blessings already in your life.
This is how you start a year right. This is how you set the tone for a music campaign. Amen is a spiritual launchpad. And yes, you can say it with me: AMEN!!!
