Chelsea are reportedly preparing a massive move for Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Junior, with reports in Spain claiming the Blues are willing to pay as much as £135 million to land the Brazilian winger.
Vinicius is said to be unsettled at the Santiago Bernabeu following a strained relationship with new Real Madrid boss Xabi Alonso, who recently took over after a managerial shake-up at the Spanish giants.
The situation has alerted several top European clubs, with Chelsea emerging as one of the most aggressive suitors.
According to London Evening Standard, the Blues have already lined up a blockbuster £128 million bid for the 25-year-old and are prepared to go even higher if negotiations demand it. However, any potential deal is expected to wait until the summer transfer window.
Despite being a key figure at Real Madrid in recent seasons, Vinicius’ future has become uncertain amid reports of dressing-room tension and tactical disagreements under Alonso.
Chelsea are believed to see the Brazilian as a marquee signing capable of transforming their attack and restoring the club’s dominance in Europe.
In a related development, the Blues are also monitoring Aston Villa forward Morgan Rogers, who has impressed in the Premier League this season. Reports suggest Chelsea could table a bid of a similar valuation for the England international as they look to overhaul their attacking options
