Funke Akindele’s latest film ‘ Behind the scenes,’ has become the highest-grossing Nollywood movie of 2025. The movie which was released in the early days of December, quickly became a success, amassing over a Billion Naira in cinemas.
The movie has currently hit a 1.7 Billion mark, breaking multiple records and setting new ones in the Nollywood industry. The film’s distributor, FilmOne Entertainment, reacted to the achievement, expressing their appreciation to fans for their support.
“Celebrating yet another incredible milestone and we’re so sure we wouldn’t have done this without you and your love. Behind The Scenes hits a whopping N1.77B also standing as the Number 1 film of the weekend. Thank you to everyone for the love and support so far,” they wrote.
