‘Lagos is smelling,’ Bizzle Osikoya laments

Nigerian music executive Bizzle Osikoya has cried out over lack of adequate sanitation in Lagos State. The media personality on his X handle, claimed that Lagos smells.

He urged residents to endeavor to cleanup their environment as a way to improve the condition of things in the state.

“Lagos dey smell bad. We as citizens suppose dey try clean our environment,” he wrote.

Osikoya’s statement quickly sparked reactions from other users, with majority agreeing with his claim.

Some noted that a media personality and former NYSC member Raye, made the same statement in 2025 but was criticised for it.

They, however, urged Lagosians to make theor environment a priority, noting that it’s a collective responsibility.
