Gina Onuoha blasts Ned Nwoko over Regina Daniels’ drug test

Popular Nollywood actress Gina Onuoha has publicly criticised Nigerian senator Ned Nwoko over his reaction to a drug test reportedly taken by his estranged wife, actress Regina Daniels, describing his response as an attempt at control rather than genuine concern.

In a lengthy social media post shared on Friday, January 9, 2026, Gina accused the lawmaker of struggling to accept that Regina has moved on with her life.

She argued that his comments following the release of the test results were driven by obsession and dominance, not love.

The actress praised Regina for travelling to the United Kingdom to undergo what she described as independent medical testing, noting that the UK operates under some of the strictest medical and legal standards globally.

According to Gina, the reported clean drug test results completely dismantled claims suggesting brief “moments of sobriety,” stressing that drugs remain detectable in the body for extended periods and that science does not support such narratives.

Gina further questioned Senator Nwoko’s credibility by referencing a 2001 case at the UK Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal, which she claimed found him guilty of professional misconduct while practising law in England. She alleged that the case involved misrepresentation and regulatory breaches, resulting in financial penalties.

The actress also accused the senator of hypocrisy, pointing out that his daughter, who she said is Regina’s age mate, is happily married to someone from her generation, while Regina is allegedly being publicly attacked for choosing independence and freedom.
