What Paul Okoye said about feminists that sparked outrage

Nigerian singer Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy, has sparked an online outrage by making a controversial statement about women who stand for women’s rights.

The singer on his Instagram page, questioned feminists, while claiming that they are always unattractive.

Paul further claimed that the women who identify as feminists are usually women above 30 years, supporting a popular online narrative.

“Why are feminists always above 30? And they always believe they have inner beauty,” he wrote.

His comment did not sit well with many ladies who called him out for stereotyping and ageshaming women. They urged him to focus on his career rather than making controversial statements.

The singer, however, is yet to respond to the backlash or explain his statement.
