Colleen Hoover reveals fate after battle with Cancer

American writer Colleen Hoover has opened up on her cancer diagnosis, revealing that she went through a surgery which was a successful process.

Hoover, on her Instagram page, revealed that she chose to keep the process private until she knew the results. She disclosed that she is healing, adding that she is grateful for life.

“I’m doing much better. My cancer diagnosis was a while ago but I chose to keep it private until after finding out my surgery was successful and what my other treatments would be,” she wrote.

The author, popular for writing the novel ‘It ends with us’, noted that she felt scared but she is happy the surgery was a success. She however, did not disclose what type of cancer she was diagnosed with.

”It felt huge and scary for a bit, and I had to miss out on the Regretting You premiere and some other important career and personal moments, I just wasn’t ready to share with anyone until I knew what the outcome would be. I’m happy and grateful to be alive but I hate vegetables. I hate when I have to get off the couch. I hate sweating. I hate when science is right,” she added.
