The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and Prevention, NCDC, has announced that there was a hike in the recorded cases of Lassa fever in 2025
The NCDC, via its official website, disclosed that they recorded a total of 215 deaths due to Lassa fever in 2025. They added that there was a 18.7 percent hike in the record when compared to the data from 2024.
