Popular Nigerian singer Qdot, born Qudus Oluwadamilare, has opened up about the lasting trauma he continues to suffer months after a violent robbery at his Lagos residence.

The attack reportedly occurred in the early hours of September 28, 2025, but the singer said the frightening experience has continued to affect his mental and emotional well-being.

Qdot revealed that since the incident, he has been struggling with persistent fear and sleepless nights, noting that he wakes up almost daily around 2:30 a.m., the same time the armed men invaded his home.

According to him, the trauma has robbed him of peace, leaving his heart constantly unsettled and his mind gripped by fear that the attackers could return at any moment.

The singer said the experience has deeply affected his daily life, adding that sleep no longer comes easily as memories of the robbery replay in his mind.

He disclosed that he has been praying for healing, peace of mind, and emotional stability, while also calling for stronger security measures to protect residents from such attacks.

Recall that armed men reportedly stormed Qdot’s residence at about 2 a.m., holding the singer and his official DJ at gunpoint while they ransacked the house.

During the attack, the assailants allegedly carted away phones, laptops, and other valuables. It was later discovered that some of Qdot’s bank accounts and social media platforms had also been tampered with.

Describing the incident as one of the scariest moments of his life, Qdot admitted that he feared he might not survive the ordeal.

The singer, however, expressed gratitude to friends, family members, and fans who stood by him and offered support in the aftermath of the incident.

Qdot is well known for hit songs such as Gbese and Alomo Meta, and is the founder of the Yoruba Boi Music record label.
