Justin Bieber on fire for ‘liking’ old kissing photo with Selena Gomez

Pop star Justin Bieber has set social media ablaze after he was accused of liking a throwback photo of himself kissing his former girlfriend, Selena Gomez.

The image, posted in 2016 during the height of the couple’s on-and-off romance, resurfaced amid a trending nostalgia wave online. Fans quickly noticed that a comment under the post, “Vivan los novios” (Spanish for “Long live the bride and groom”), appeared to have been liked by Bieber’s verified account.

Screenshots of the alleged like spread rapidly before it was reportedly removed hours later, triggering intense speculation among fans.

Bieber, who is married to model Hailey Bieber and welcomed a son in 2024, has been the subject of renewed gossip despite Selena Gomez marrying music producer Benny Blanco last year.

The development reignited long-standing interest in the Bieber–Gomez relationship, which lasted intermittently from 2010 to 2018 and remains one of pop culture’s most discussed celebrity romances.

Fans flooded the comments section with memes, popcorn emojis and references to Hailey Bieber’s own 2016 throwback post, where she shared a photo kissing Justin with the caption, “You just had to be there.”

Some followers also took the drama to Hailey’s page, with comments linking Justin’s alleged “like” to his past with Selena.
