Nollywood star Mercy Johnson has addressed trolls and platforms who report fake news about her and her family. The actress on her Instagram page on Monday, spoke about Eedie Bliss’ arrest, noting that she withdrew the case because of the respect she has for some people who intervened.

Mercy, however, explained that she would not let similar cases slide in 2026, urging people to leave her and her family alone.

“We have decided to withdraw the charges against the lady in question because of the love and respect we have for numerous individuals that reached out,” she stated.

The actress also noted that she plans to focus on her plans for the year rather than attending to defamation cases. She urged her fans and trolls to not make trouble with her.

”Hi guys, good morning from the other side. First and foremost let me just say thank you all for supporting my craft. I do not take your love for granted. But I felt the need to say that it’s no longer going to be business as usual. I have plans later this year for things I have to do online, and having plans to make trouble and court cases is going to be part of them because some people just won’t leave me and my family alone,” she added.
