An American content creator, popularly known online as Tikibeen1, has sparked reactions on social media after posting a video from inside a Nigerian police station, claiming he may be deported from the country.
In the video, which was shared on TikTok, the streamer said he had just arrived in Nigeria when he was detained by security operatives. He alleged that his passport was taken and that he was informed he might be sent back to the United States.
“I’m about to get deported. I just got off a flight to Nigeria,” he said in the footage.
The streamer later wrote on social media that he enjoyed his time in Nigeria and promised to keep followers updated on developments surrounding his situation.
The video has since generated widespread reactions online, with many Nigerians expressing curiosity over the circumstances surrounding his detention, while others pointed to the country’s strict immigration and visa regulations.
