‘Fela is king,’ Burna Boy proclaims

Afrobeat singer, Damini Ogulu popularly known as Burna Boy has weighed in on the controversy between Wizkid and Fela’s son, Seun Kuti.

The Grammy Award singer in a video shared by Tunde Ednut on Instagram, claimed that Fela is the only artist above him.

Burna in his short message paid his respect to the Afrobeat legend, referring to him as the King. He, however, added a strong claim, stating that Fela is the only artist greater than him.

“Fela is the king. He is the only one greater than me,” he stated.
